Abstract
The harmful effects of watching television have been discussed in relation to the violent behaviors of children and adolescents. Exposure to aggressive models on television can increase the subsequent aggressive behavior of adolescents. Heavy doses of television violence can affect the attitudes of adolescents as well and lead them to view violence as an acceptable and effective way to deal with interpersonal conflict.
